Hollywood Hills: Viewsite

Viewsite is a street located up Sunset Plaza Drive, just north of the trendy shops and restaurants of Sunset Plaza below. This home, like most located in the Hollywood Hills, utilizes vertical space due to the lack of flat land. Flat land is virtually non existent and, being as such, most of the homes appear to have been stuck right onto the sides of the mountains like pushpins onto a pin board. This particular home feels, at times, more like a kitschy vacation hotel in Spain then it does a house; but that's not uncommon for a many homes in the Hollywood Hills. LED lights illuminate bathroom vanities, white marble floors stretch across long hallways, and door after door open up to bedrooms that share similar design aesthetics. This house has three stories each with a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass that runs along the entire length of the home. Each room is presented with a dramatic view of the city in quintessential Hollywood Hills form. There are 6 bedrooms, a swimming pool with outdoor firepit, a sauna, bathrooms with their own fireplaces, and closets that resemble high-end retail boutiques.

Lexington House

This house on Lexington, a surprisingly quiet street, just off one of the city's busiest highways is located on almost an acre of flat land in Beverly Hills; flat land is extremely desirable when so many of the homes in this area are located on hillsides. The 2-story home has a large pool, full size tennis court, guest house with a full kitchen, movie projector, massage parlor and boasts a fully stocked wine cellar. Besides that it's in one of LA's most desirable neighborhoods. The home was in need of an interior update, having a '90's vibe to it.
